Jeremiah, 6

26. O daughter of my people, gird [thee] with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, [as for] an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us.

Jeremiah 6 deals with the rebellion and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, as well as the imminent destruction that would come upon them as a consequence of their sins. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Hosea 14:1: "Convert you, O Israel, to the Lord your God; for by your sins you have fallen." This verse brings a message similar to that of Jeremiah 6, calling God's people to repentance and conversion.

Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near. Isaiah 1:16-17: "Wash, purify you, take the evil from your acts from before my eyes; cease to do evil. I learned to do good; , deal with the cause of the widows. " This verse calls people to abandon their sins and practice justice and goodness as a way of pleasing God.
