Jeremiah, 30

17. For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, [saying], This [is] Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Jeremiah 30 presents a message of hope for the people of Israel, who had suffered a lot due to their disobedience to God. In this chapter God promises to restore his people and bring them back to the promised land. He also speaks of the coming of a new leader, who will rule with justice and wisdom. Psalm 107:28-30: "Then they cried to the Lord in his anguish, and he delivered them from his difficulties. He stopped the storm, and the waves were calmed. Then they rejoiced with the bonanza; and he guided them to desired port. " This Psalm talks about God's power to save his people from adversity and guide them to a safe place, which is similar to God's promise in Jeremiah 30 to bring his people back home.
