1 Samuel, 17

1. Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which [belongeth] to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.

Psalm 56:3: "On the day I fear, I will trust you." This verse emphasizes the importance of trust in God, even in times of fear and uncertainty, which is an attitude that David demonstrates during his battle against Goliath.

Proverbs 21:31: "The horse is prepared for battle day, but victory comes from the Lord." This verse shows that although we can prepare to face the challenges, victory comes from God, and David trusts God to help him beat Goliath.
