1 Chronicles, 7

2. And the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father's house, [to wit], of Tola: [they were] valiant men of might in their generations; whose number [was] in the days of David two and twenty thousand and six hundred.

1 Chronicles 7 is a chapter that talks about the families of Isacar, Benjamin and Naphtali, describing their descendants and their lands. Some topics covered are the importance of genealogies, the division of land between the tribes of Israel and the prosperity of the nation.

Numbers 26:23-25: "The descendants of Isacar according to their families: Foolish, the family of the tolanites; of Puá, the family of the puatites; of Jasub, the family of the jasubitas; of Sinrom, the family of the Sinromites." This verse mentions the Issacar tribe, which is one of the tribes addressed in 1 chronicles 7 and whose descendants are listed in the chapter.

Joshua 19:32-39: "The sixth lot came out to the clans of the sons of Naphtali (...) Cislon, Hamá, Quitz, Ran, twenty-three cities with their villages." This verse talks about the lands that were given to the Naphtali tribe, another tribe mentioned in 1 chronicles 7.

1 Chronicles 7:40: "All these were descendants of Aser, heads of family, brave men, princes. They were recorded according to their genealogies for military service: 26,000 men." This verse mentions the tribe of Aser and his descendants, who were brave men and fit for military service, and also highlights the importance of genealogies in the organization of the nation of Israel.
