Psalms, 56

2. Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me: for my soul trusteth in thee. And in the shadow of thy wings will I hope, until iniquity pass away.

Psalm 56 is a psalm of lamentation in which the psalmist calls God for help and protection against his enemies. He expresses his confidence in God and asks him to judge his enemies. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this Psalm:
