Esther, 16

10. Now that you may more plainly understand what we say, I Aman the son of Amadathi, a Macedonian both in mind and country, and having nothing of the Persian blood, but with his cruelty staining our goodness, was received being a stranger by us:

1 Chronicles 16:35-"And say, Save ourselves, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and deliver us from the nations, that we may praise your holy name and glorize ourselves in your praise." This verse talks about the salvation of God and the praise we must give to Him for saving us. It is a reference to the recognition of those who serve God and who are saved by Him.

Proverbs 3:6 - "recognizes him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." This verse talks about the importance of recognizing God in all our actions and decisions, trusting that He will guide our steps. This can be related to the faithfulness of Mordecai to God, even in the midst of adversity.

Philippians 2:3 - "You do nothing by strife or by boasting, but by humility; each consider the others superior to themselves." This verse talks about humility and the importance of putting others first. It can be related to Mordecai's attitude to put the security of his people above his own interests.

1 Peter 5:6 - "humiliate you, therefore, under the powerful hand of God, that it may be exalted to you;" This verse talks about the importance of humility and submission to God, trusting that He will exalt those who are faithful to Him. This can be related to Mordecai's attitude to trust God's righteousness and wait patiently for his providence.
