Numbers, 18

32. You will not be guilty of any sin because of this, as long as you have presented the best part to Yahweh. You will not eat any of the gifts before the best part is offered. In this way you will not defile the sacred gifts of the Israelites and you will not die."

Chapter 18 of numbers is dedicated to Levi's tribe and his role as tabernacle priests. The following verses are related to the topics dealt with in chapter:

Exodus 29:9: "And you thou bear the belt of pure gold, and you will give the diadem of holiness in your head." This verse describes the preparation of priests for the tabernacle service, including the garment and the diadem they should wear.
