Psalms, 75

Psalm 75 is a hymn of thanksgiving that exalts the sovereignty of God and His righteousness. In it, the psalmist praises God for his righteous and confident judgment in the future He has prepared for the righteous and the wicked. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in Psalm 75:

Psalm 9:8 - "And the Lord will be a high refuge for the oppressed, a high refuge in times of anguish." This verse speaks of the protection that God offers to the oppressed and those seeking refuge in it.

Psalm 50:6 - "And the heavens announce their righteousness, because it is God who judges." This verse points out that God is the supreme judge who rules over all things.

Proverbs 21:1 - "The king's heart is like a river in the hand of the Lord; he directs him wherever he wants." This verse teaches that God rules upon kings and that He is able to direct His decisions.

Isaiah 2:12 - "For the Lord of hosts has one day against all the superb and haughty, against all who exalts himself, to be deducted." This verse speaks of God's righteousness against proud and haughty.

Revelation 22:12 - "Behold, I come soon, and I bring with me my reward, to repay each one according to what they did." This verse speaks of the coming of Jesus Christ to judge the world and reward each one according to his works.
