2 Chronicles, 12

15. The acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are written, as is well known, in the history of Shemaiah the prophet and of Iddo the seer (his family record). There was war continually between Rehoboam and Jeroboam.

Isaiah 57:15 - "For thus says the high and the sublime, which dwells in eternity, and whose name is holy: in a tall and holy place habit; as with the contrite and slaughtered with spirit, to vivify the spirit of the slaughtered, and to vivify the heart of the contrite. " This verse highlights the importance of humility and repentance before God, and how he is always willing to hear and forgive those who seek his help.
