Ezekiel, 2

9. And I looked, and behold, a hand was sent to me, wherein was a book rolled up: and he spread it before me, and it was written within and without: and there were written in it lamentations, and canticles, and woe.

Ezekiel chapter 2 begins with the description of the prophet's vision of God and heavenly beings. God then calls Ezekiel to be a messenger and prophet, sent to speak to the people of Israel and warn them about their sinful conduct. Matthew 10:16: "I send you like sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, thirst prudent like snakes and simple as doves." This verse shows the similarity between Ezekiel's mission and that of Jesus, who also sent his disciples to preach and warn the people, even in the midst of hostility and opposition.

Acts 20:26-27: "Therefore, on this day I declare you that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not fail to proclaim you all the will of God." The apostle Paul declared his faithfulness by fulfilling the mission of preaching God's Word, similar to Ezekiel's commitment to warn the people of Israel of God's will.
