1 Chronicles, 25
1. Moreover David and the chief .officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun : to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.
1. καὶ ἔστησεν Δαυιδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ασαφ καὶ Αιμαν καὶ Ιδιθων τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν
2. Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.
2. υἱοὶ Ασαφ Ζακχουρ καὶ Ιωσηφ καὶ Ναθανιας καὶ Εραηλ υἱοὶ Ασαφ ἐχόμενοι Ασαφ τοῦ προφήτου ἐχόμενοι τοῦ βασιλέως
3. And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
3. τῷ Ιδιθων υἱοὶ Ιδιθων Γοδολια καὶ Σουρι καὶ Ισαια καὶ Σεμεϊ καὶ Ασαβια καὶ Ματταθιας ἕξ μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ιδιθων ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ κυρίῳ
4. Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:
4. τῷ Αιμανι υἱοὶ Αιμαν Βουκιας καὶ Μανθανιας καὶ Αζαραηλ καὶ Σουβαηλ καὶ Ιεριμωθ καὶ Ανανιας καὶ Ανανι καὶ Ηλιαθα καὶ Γοδολλαθι καὶ Ρωμεμθι-ωδ καὶ Ιεσβακασα καὶ Μαλληθι καὶ Ωθηρι καὶ Μεαζωθ
5. All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
5. πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῷ Αιμαν τῷ ἀνακρουομένῳ τῷ βασιλεῖ ἐν λόγοις θεοῦ ὑψῶσαι κέρας καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς τῷ Αιμαν υἱοὺς δέκα τέσσαρας καὶ θυγατέρας τρεῖς
6. All these under their father's hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.
6. πάντες οὗτοι μετὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὑμνῳδοῦντες ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις ἐχόμενα τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Ασαφ καὶ Ιδιθων καὶ Αιμανι
7. And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,
7. καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μετὰ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν δεδιδαγμένοι ᾄδειν κυρίῳ πᾶς συνίων διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ
8. And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.
8. καὶ ἔβαλον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους ἐφημεριῶν κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν τελείων καὶ μανθανόντων
9. And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.
9. καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πρῶτος υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ τῷ Ασαφ τῷ Ιωσηφ Γοδολια ὁ δεύτερος Ηνια ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
10. The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
10. ὁ τρίτος Ζακχουρ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
11. 11The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
11. ὁ τέταρτος Ιεσδρι υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
12. The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
12. ὁ πέμπτος Ναθανιας υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
13. The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
13. ὁ ἕκτος Βουκιας υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
14. The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
14. ὁ ἕβδομος Ισεριηλ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
15. The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
15. ὁ ὄγδοος Ιωσια υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
16. The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
16. ὁ ἔνατος Μανθανιας υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
17. The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
17. ὁ δέκατος Σεμεϊ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
18. The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
18. ὁ ἑνδέκατος Αζαρια υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
19. The twelfth to Hasabia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
19. ὁ δωδέκατος Ασαβια υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
20. The thirteenth to Subael, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
20. ὁ τρισκαιδέκατος Σουβαηλ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
21. The fourteenth to Mathathias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
21. ὁ τεσσαρεσκαιδέκατος Ματταθιας υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
22. The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
22. ὁ πεντεκαιδέκατος Ιεριμωθ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
23. The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
23. ὁ ἑκκαιδέκατος Ανανιας υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
24. The seventeenth to Jesbacassa, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
24. ὁ ἑπτακαιδέκατος Ιεσβακασα υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
25. The eighteenth to Hanani, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
25. ὁ ὀκτωκαιδέκατος Ανανι υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
26. The nineteenth to Mellothi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
26. ὁ ἐννεακαιδέκατος Μελληθι υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
27. The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
27. ὁ εἰκοστὸς Ελιαθα υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
28. The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
28. ὁ εἰκοστὸς πρῶτος Ηθιρ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
29. The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
29. ὁ εἰκοστὸς δεύτερος Γοδολλαθι υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
30. The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
30. ὁ τρίτος καὶ εἰκοστὸς Μεαζωθ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
31. 31The four and twentieth to Romemthiezer, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
31. ὁ τέταρτος καὶ εἰκοστὸς Ρωμεμθι-ωδ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δέκα δύο
