Exodus, 14

12. What have you done by bringing us out of Egypt? Isn't this what we said when we were in Egypt: Let us work for the Egyptians. Far better serve Egypt than to die in the desert!"

1 Corinthians 10:1-2: "For I do not want, brothers, that you will ignore that our parents were all under the cloud, and all passed by the sea; and they were baptized in Moses, the cloud and in the sea." Hebrews 11:29: "By faith they crossed the Red Sea as by dry land; trying it the Egyptians were swallowed by the waters." Psalm 106:9: "He rebuked the Red Sea, and he dried himself; he made them walk through the abyss as the desert." This psalm refers to the event that took place in Exodus 14:21, when God opened the Red Sea so that the Israelites could cross it on foot.
