Psalms, 32

9. Be ye not as the horse, [or] as the mule, [which] have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

Psalm 32 is a psalm of confession and forgiveness, in which the psalmist expresses his joy for being forgiven by God. Proverbs 28:13: "He who covers his transgressions will never prosper; but what confesses them and leaves them will reach mercy." This verse highlights the importance of confession and repentance to receive God's forgiveness.

Isaiah 1:18: "Come, and let us, say the Lord; even if your sins are like scarlet, they will become white like snow; even if they are red as Carmesim, they will become like white wool. " This verse speaks of God's mercy on forgiving sins and making them white like snow.

1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all injustice." This verse emphasizes the importance of confession and repentance to receive the forgiveness and purification of God.

Psalm 51:10: "Creates in me, O God, a pure heart, and renews in me a straight spirit." This verse is a prayer of repentance and requested by purification and renewal of the heart.

Psalm 34:18: "Near the lord of those who have a broken heart, and save the contrite of spirit." This verse speaks of God's goodness to be close to those who have a broken and contrite heart, ready to repent and seek forgiveness.
