Chapter 8 of Genesis deals with the end of the flood and the departure of Noah and his family from the ark. Matthew 24:37-39-"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of man. 1 Peter 3:20-21 - "... that in another time they were rebellious, when God's patience expected in Noah's days, while preparing the ark; in which few, namely eight souls, were saved through the water that also now, by the corresponding figure, baptism saves you, not being the removal of the dirt from the body, but the answer of good conscience to God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
