1. Thus all the work done by Solomon for the Temple of Yahweh was completed, and Solomon brought in the gifts which his father David had consecrated; and he had the silver, the gold and all the utensils put into the treasuries of the Temple of God.
Chapter 5 of 2 chronicles continues the report of the construction of the temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. In this chapter, the focus is on the dedication of the temple, where Solomon and the priests brought the ark of the covenant to the Holy of Holies and made sacrifices to the Lord.
