Ezéchiel, 48

1. Voici les noms des tribus: A partir de l'extrémité septentrionale, le long du chemin de Héthalon pour aller à Hamath, Hatzer-Enon, la frontière de Damas vers le nord, le long de Hamath, il y aura pour chaque tribu: de la li-mite orientale à la limite occidentale: Dan, une part.

1. This is the list of the tribes. Dan: at the northern extremity, adjoining Hamath, all along from the approaches to Hethlon through Labo of Hamath to Hazar-enon, on the northerly border with Damascus, with his possession reaching from the eastern to the western boundary.

2. Asher: on the frontier of Dan, from the eastern to the western boundary.

8. A la frontière de Juda, de la limite orientale à la limite occidentale, sera la portion que vous prélèverez, large de vingt-cinq mille coudées et longue comme une des parts, de la limite orien-tale jusqu'à la limite occidentale: au milieu d'elle sera le sanctuaire.

8. On the frontier of Judah, from the eastern to the western boundary there shall be the tract which you shall set apart, twenty-five thousand cubits from north to south, and as wide as one of the tribal portions from the eastern to the western boundary. In the center of the tract shall be the sanctuary.

9. La portion que vous prélèverez pour Yah-weh aura vingt-cinq mille coudées de longueur et dix mille de largeur.

9. The tract that you set aside for the LORD shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across by twenty thousand north and south.

10. Cette sainte portion prélevée appartiendra aux prêtres, savoir, au septentrion vingt--cinq mille coudées, à l'occident dix mille coudées en largeur, à l'orient dix mille coudées en largeur, et au midi vingt--cinq mille coudées en longueur: le sanctuaire de Yahweh sera au milieu d'elle.

10. In this sacred tract the priests shall have twenty-five thousand cubits on the north, ten thousand on the west, ten thousand on the east, and twenty-five thousand on the south; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its center.

11. Elle appartiendra aux prêtres consacrés, fils de Sadoc, qui se sont acquittés de mon service, qui ne se sont pas égarés lorsque s'égarèrent les enfants d'Israël comme se sont égarés les lévites.

11. The consecrated priests, the Zadokites, who fulfilled my service and did not stray along with the Israelites as the Levites did,

12. Ce sera leur part prélevée sur la portion prélevée du pays, part très sainte, à la frontière des lévites.

12. shall have within this tract of land their own most sacred domain, next to the territory of the Levites.

13. Les lévites auront, le long du terri-toire des prêtres, vingt-cinq mille cou-dées en longueur et dix mille en largeur; chaque longueur sera de vingt-cinq mille coudées, et chaque largeur de dix mille.

13. The Levites shall have a territory corresponding to that of the priests, twenty-five thousand cubits by ten thousand. The whole tract shall be twenty-five thousand cubits across and twenty thousand north and south.

14. Ils n'en pourront rien vendre ni rien échanger, et les prémices du pays n'en seront point aliénées; car elles sont saintes pour Yahweh

14. They may not sell or exchange or alienate this, the best part of the land, for it is sacred to the LORD.

15. Les cinq mille qui resteront en lar-geur sur les vingt-cinq mille seront un terrain profane pour la ville, tant pour les habitations que pour la banlieue; la ville sera au milieu.

15. The remaining five thousand cubits along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line are profane land, assigned to the City for dwellings and pasture; the City shall be at their center.

16. En voici les di-mensions: côté du nord, quatre mille cinq cents coudées; côté du midi, quatre mille cinq cents; côté de l'orient, quatre -mille cinq cents; côté de l'occident, quatre mille cinq cents.

16. These are the dimensions of the City: the north side, forty-five hundred cubits; the south side, forty-five hundred cubits; the east side, forty-five hundred cubits; and the west side, forty-five hundred cubits.

17. La ville aura une banlieue de deux cent cinquante coudées au nord, deux cent cinquante on midi, deux cent cinquante à l'orient et deux cent cinquante à l'occident.

17. The pasture lands of the City shall extend north two hundred and fifty cubits, south two hundred and fifty cubits, east two hundred and fifty cubits, and west two hundred and fifty cubits.

18. Il restera en longueur, le long de la portion sainte, dix mille coudées à l'orient et dix mille à l'occident, le long de la portion sainte; les produits en seront pour la nourriture de ceux qui desservent la ville.

18. There shall remain an area along the sacred tract, ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west, whose produce shall provide food for the workers of the City.

19. Les desservants de la ville, pris dans toutes les tribus d'Israël, cultiveront ce terrain.

19. The workers in the City shall be taken from all the tribes of Israel.

20. Ainsi, toute la portion prélevée étant de vingt-cinq mille coudées sur vingt-cinq mille, vous aurez prélevé pour le do-maine de la ville une portion égale au quart le la portion sainte.

20. The entire tract shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand cubits; as a perfect square you shall set apart the sacred tract together with the City property.

21. Le reste sera pour le prince; de chaque côté de la portion sainte et du domaine de la ville, à partir des vingt-cinq mille coudées de la portion prélevée, jusqu'à la frontière de l'orient, et, à l'occident, à partir des vingt-cinq mille coudées jus-qu'à la frontière de l'occident, parallè-lement aux parts -- ce sera pour le prince; la portion sainte et le sanctuaire de la maison seront au milieu.

21. The remainder shall belong to the prince: the land on both sides of the sacred tract and the City property, extending along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line eastward to the eastern boundary, and westward along the twenty-five-thousand-cubit line to the western boundary, a territory parallel with the tribal portions for the prince. The sacred tract and the sanctuary of the temple shall be in the middle.

22. Ainsi à partir du domaine des lévites et du domaine de la ville, qui se trouvent au milieu de la portion du prince, tout ce qui est entre la frontière de Juda et la frontière de Benjamin sera au prince.

22. Thus, except for the property of the Levites and the City property, which lie in the midst of the prince's property, the territory between the portions of Judah and of Benjamin shall belong to the prince.

23. These are the remaining tribes. Benjamin: from the eastern to the western boundary.

24. Simeon: on the frontier of Benjamin, from the eastern to the western boundary.

25. Issachar: on the frontier of Simeon, from the eastern to the western boundary.

26. A la frontière d'Issachar, de la limite orientale à la limite occidentale, Zabulon, une part.

26. Zebulun: on the frontier of Issachar, from the eastern to the western boundary.

27. A la frontière de Zabulon, de la limite orientale à la limite occidentale, Gad, une part.

27. Gad: on the frontier of Zebulun, from the eastern to the western boundary.

28. A la frontière de Gad, du côté du négéb, vers le sud, la frontière ira de Thamar aux eaux de Méribah à Cadès, et au torrent qui va à la grande mer.

28. Along the frontier of Gad shall be the southern boundary, which shall extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, and from there to the Wadi of Egypt, and on to the Great Sea.

29. Tel est le pays que vous tirerez au sort pour le posséder, selon les tribus d'Israël; et telles sont leurs parts, --oracle du Seigneur Yahweh.

29. Such is the land which you shall apportion as inheritances among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, says the Lord GOD.

30. Voici les sorties de la ville: Du côté du nord, quatre mille cinq cents coudées de mesure, --

30. These are the exits of the City, the gates of which are named after the tribes of Israel. On the north side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits,

31. les portes de la ville prendront les noms des tribus d'Israël, - et trois portes au nord: la porte de Ruben, une: la porte de Juda, une; la porte de Lévi, une.

31. there shall be three gates: the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah, and the gate of Levi.

32. Du côté de l'orient, quatre mille cinq cents coudées et trois portes: la porte de Joseph, une; la porte de Benjamin, une; la porte de Dan, une.

32. On the east side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin, and the gate of Dan.

33. Du côté de l'orient, quatre mille cinq cents coudées de mesure et trois portes: la porte de Siméon, une; la porte d'Issachar, une; la porte de Zabu-lon, une.

33. On the south side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar, and the gate of Zebulun.

34. Du côté de l'occident, quatre mille cinq cents coudées et trois portes: la porte de Gad, une; la porte d'Aser, une; la porte de Nephthali, une.

34. On the west side, measuring forty-five hundred cubits, there shall be three gates: the gate of Gad, the gate of Asher, and the gate of Naphtali.

35. Dix-huit mille coudées de tour. Et le nom de la ville sera désormais: Yahweh-est -là.$

35. The perimeter of the City is eighteen thousand cubits. The name of the City shall henceforth be "The LORD is here."
