Salmos, 84

1. Del maestro de coro. Según la... de Gat. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo.

1. <To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.> How amiable [are] thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

2. ¡Qué amables tus moradas, oh Yahveh Sebaot!

2. My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

3. Anhela mi alma y languidece tras de los atrios de Yahveh, mi corazón y mi carne gritan de alegría hacia el Dios vivo.

3. Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, [even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

4. Hasta el pajarillo ha encontrado una casa, y para sí la golondrina un nido donde poner a sus polluelos: ¡Tus altares, oh Yahveh Sebaot, rey mío y Dios mío!

4. Blessed [are] they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

5. Dichosos los que moran en tu casa, te alaban por siempre.

5. Blessed [is] the man whose strength [is] in thee; in whose heart [are] the ways [of them].

6. Dichosos los hombres cuya fuerza está en ti, y las subidas en su corazón.

6. [Who] passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7. Al pasar por el valle del Bálsamo, lo hacen un hontanar, y la lluvia primera lo cubre de bendiciones.

7. They go from strength to strength, [every one of them] in Zion appeareth before God.

8. De altura en altura marchan, y Dios se les muestra en Sión.

8. O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

9. ¡Yahveh Dios Sebaot, escucha mi plegaria, tiende tu oído, oh Dios de Jacob!

9. Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10. Oh Dios, escudo nuestro, mira, pon tus ojos en el rostro de tu ungido.

10. For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11. Vale más un día en tus atrios que mil en mis mansiones, estar en el umbral de la Casa de mi Dios que habitar en las tiendas de impiedad.

11. For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12. Porque Yahveh Dios es almena y escudo, él da gracia y gloria; Yahveh no niega la ventura a los que caminan en la perfección.

12. O LORD of hosts, blessed [is] the man that trusteth in thee.

13. ¡Oh Yahveh Sebaot, dichoso el hombre que confía en ti!
