Jeremiah, 6

21. This is what Yahweh says, "I will place stumbling blocks before this people to make them stumble, parents and children, neighbors and friends together."

Isaiah 1:16-17: "Wash, purify you, take the evil from your acts from before my eyes; cease to do evil. I learned to do good; , deal with the cause of the widows. " This verse calls people to abandon their sins and practice justice and goodness as a way of pleasing God.
