54. Jesus answered: If I were to seek my own glory my glory would be worth nothing; in fact, my glory is conferred by the Father, by the one of whom you say, 'He is our God,'

In John 8, Jesus is in Jerusalem and confronts religious leaders who bring him a woman accused of adultery. Jesus then argues with the Pharisees about who has the right to stoned women and makes several teachings about their divine nature and human sin.
