Isaiah, 35

8. And through it will run a road for them and a highway which will be called the Sacred Way; the unclean will not be allowed to use it; He will be the one to use this road, the fool will not stray along it.

Verses related to Isaiah, 35:

Isaiah 35 is a chapter that talks about the restoration of the earth and the joy of God's people. The prophet Isaiah describes a scenario in which the desert blooms and joy replaces sadness. He talks about how God will heal the sick, bring justice and protection to his people. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Isaiah 35:

Psalm 107:35: "But it turns the desert into water, and the earth dries into water sources." This verse talks about how God is able to transform the desert into a fertile and life -full place, just as described in Isaiah 35.

Psalm 30:5: "For your wrath lasts only a moment; in your favor is life. Crying can last a night, but joy comes in the morning." This verse talks about how God can transform sadness into joy, just as Isaiah 35 describes joy replacing sadness.

Luke 4:18: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, so he has anointed me to evangelize the poor; he sent me to proclaim liberation to the captives, and restoration of sight to the blind, to free the oppressed." This verse talks about how Jesus came to heal the sick and free the oppressed, as described in Isaiah 35.

Matthew 11:5: "The blind see, and the lames walk; lepers are clean, and the deaf hear; the dead are resurrected, and the poor are announced the gospel." This verse talks about the miracles that Jesus performed, healing sick and giving hope to the needy, just as Isaiah 35 describes the healing of the sick.

2 Peter 3:13: "But we, according to his promise, await new heavens and new earth, in which justice dwells." This verse talks about God's promise to bring justice and restoration to his people, as described in Isaiah 35.
