Revelation, 20

4. There were thrones and seated on them were those with the power to judge. I then saw the spirits of those who had been beheaded for having held the teachings of Jesus and on account of the word of God. I saw all those who had refused to worship the beast or its image, or receive its mark on the forehead or on the hand. They returned to life and reigned with the Messiah for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection.

Verses related to Revelation, 20:

Revelation 20 describes the scene in which Satan is arrested for a thousand years and Christ reigns with the saints on earth. Five verses related to the topics covered in Revelation 20 are:

2 Peter 3:7: "And the heavens and the earth that now exist by the same word reserve as a treasure, and keep themselves into fire until the day of judgment, and the perdition of the wicked men." This verse mentions the day of judgment, which is the event that occurs after the reign of a thousand years of Christ and before the new heaven and new earth.

Matthew 19:28: "Jesus said unto them, TRUTH I say unto you, That have followed me, when, in regeneration, the Son of man sitting on the throne of his glory, ye shall be on twelve tribes to judge the twelve tribes. from Israel. " This verse talks about regeneration, which can be interpreted as the reign of a thousand years of Christ on earth.

Luke 22:30: "That you may eat and drink to my table in my kingdom, and set on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." This verse also talks about the kingdom of Christ and the participation of the saints in the tribute of the tribes of Israel.

1 Corinthians 6:2: "Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? Now if the world must be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the minimal things?" This verse reinforces the idea that the saints will participate in the judgment in the kingdom of Christ.

Isaiah 2:2: "And it will happen in the last days that the hill of the Lord's house will be established on the summit of the mountains, and will rise over the hills; and all nations will be contributed to him." This verse talks about the universality of the kingdom of Christ, which will be established after the judgment.
