Revelation, 20

4. There were thrones and seated on them were those with the power to judge. I then saw the spirits of those who had been beheaded for having held the teachings of Jesus and on account of the word of God. I saw all those who had refused to worship the beast or its image, or receive its mark on the forehead or on the hand. They returned to life and reigned with the Messiah for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection.

Revelation 20 describes the scene in which Satan is arrested for a thousand years and Christ reigns with the saints on earth. Five verses related to the topics covered in Revelation 20 are:

2 Peter 3:7: "And the heavens and the earth that now exist by the same word reserve as a treasure, and keep themselves into fire until the day of judgment, and the perdition of the wicked men." Isaiah 2:2: "And it will happen in the last days that the hill of the Lord's house will be established on the summit of the mountains, and will rise over the hills; and all nations will be contributed to him." This verse talks about the universality of the kingdom of Christ, which will be established after the judgment.
