John, 8

44. The father you spring from is the devil and you will carry out the evil wishes of your father, who has been a murderer from the beginning. He didn't uphold the truth for, in him, there is no truth; and now, when he speaks for himself, he lies. He is a liar and the father of lies.

Verses related to John, 8:

In John 8, Jesus is in Jerusalem and confronts religious leaders who bring him a woman accused of adultery. Jesus then argues with the Pharisees about who has the right to stoned women and makes several teachings about their divine nature and human sin. Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and devoid are from the glory of God" This verse highlights the universal nature of human sin and how they are all separated from God's perfection.

John 3:17: "For God sent His Son to the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world may be saved by it." This verse shows that Jesus' mission on earth was to bring salvation, not condemnation.

John 14:6: "Jesus answered him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but for me." This verse emphasizes the divinity of Jesus and its position as the only way to salvation.
