Psalms, 40

7. And when he came in to see me, he was speaking emptiness. His heart gathered iniquity to itself. He went outside, and he was speaking in the same way.

Psalm 40 is an expression of trust in God and gratitude for your help in difficult times. He begins with David talking about how God took him out of a "well of destruction" and placed his feet on a firm rock.
