Psalms, 25

1. Unto the end. A Psalm of David. Judge me, Lord, for I have been walking in my innocence, and by hoping in the Lord, I will not be weakened.

2. Examine me, Lord, and test me: enkindle my temperament and my heart.

3. For your mercy is before my eyes, and I am serene in your truth.

4. I have not sat with the council of emptiness, and I will not enter with those who carry out injustice.

5. I have hated the assembly of the malicious; and I will not sit with the impious.

6. I will wash my hands among the innocent, and I will surround your altar, O Lord,

7. so that I may hear the voice of your praise and describe all your wonders.

8. O Lord, I have loved the beauty of your house and the dwelling place of your glory.

9. O God, do not let my soul perish with the impious, nor my life with the men of blood,

10. in whose hands are iniquities: their right hand has been filled by bribes.

11. But as for me, I have been walking in my innocence. Redeem me, and have mercy on me.

12. My foot has stood firm in the straight path. In the churches, I will bless you, O Lord.

Verses related to Psalms, 25:

Psalm 25 is a prayer of an afflicted individual who cries to God for help and guidance. The psalmist recognizes that God is merciful and just, and asks him to guide him in his ways. In addition, the psalmist confesses his sins and asks for forgiveness. The following verses deal with themes related to Psalm 25, such as the pursuit of God's orientation, confidence in his goodness and justice, and repentance and the need for forgiveness.

Psalm 27:11: "Teach me your way, Lord; take me through the straight path, because of those who peel up." This verse relates to Psalm 25 because the psalmist is also asking God to guide him in his ways and teach him how to do his will.

Psalm 86:5: "For you, Lord, are good and compassionate; you are patient and great in loyal love." This verse is similar to Psalm 25, where the psalmist recognizes God's goodness and asks his orientation.

Psalm 103:8: "The Lord is compassionate and merciful, very patient and full of love." This verse also highlights the mercy and goodness of God, characteristics that are emphasized in Psalm 25.

Psalm 130:4: "But for you is forgiveness, that you may be feared." This verse highlights the importance of forgiveness and confidence in God to achieve it. Psalm 25 also cares about the confession of sins and the request for forgiveness.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord of all your heart and do not support yourself in your own understanding; recognize the Lord in all your ways, and He will straighten your paths." These verses highlight the importance of trusting God and asking for their guidance in all areas of life, which is a central concern in Psalm 25.
