Jeremiah, 36

4. So Jeremias called Baruch the son of Nerias: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremias all the words of the Lord, which he spoke to him, upon the roll of a book.

Jeremiah 36 narrates the time when the Lord commanded Jeremiah to write all the words He had spoken against Israel and Judah in a roll and read it aloud to the people in the temple. Psalm 119:11: "I keep your words in the heart, not to sin against you." The people of Judah needed to keep God's words in their hearts not to sin against Him.

1 Peter 1:25: "But the word of the Lord remains forever. And this is the word that was evangelized among you." God's words are eternal and remain forever, and must be proclaimed to all.
