Genesis, 8

21. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart [is] evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Chapter 8 of Genesis deals with the end of the flood and the departure of Noah and his family from the ark. Matthew 24:37-39-"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of man. For in the days before the flood, the people lived eating and drinking, marrying and giving themselves to marriage, until the The day Noah entered the ark; and they realized nothing, until the flood came and took them to all. So it will be at the coming of the Son of man.
