Amos, 2

10. It is I who caused you to ascend from the land of Egypt, and I led you in the wilderness for forty years, so that you might possess the land of the Amorite.

Romans 12:19: "Do not seek revenge yourself, beloved, but leave with God the wrath, for it is written," My is revenge; I will return, "says the Lord." In this verse of Romans, Paul urges Christians not to seek revenge but to trust that God is the final judge.
