Jeremiah, 41
2. Ishmael, son of Nethaniah, and the ten who were with him, rose up and attacked with swords Gedaliah, son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon had made ruler over the land; and they killed him.

Jeremiah 41 describes the murder of Gedaliah, the governor appointed by the Babylonians to govern the remnant of Judah after the fall of Jerusalem. Ishmael, a royal descendant, forest gedalia and many other Jews and Babylonians who were with him. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:
2 Kings 25:25: "But it happened that, in the seventh month came Ishmael, son of Netanias, son of Elisama, of royal descent, and ten men with him, and wounded Gedaliah, and he died, along with the Jews and The Chaldeans who were with him in Mizpá. " This verse describes the same event described in Jeremiah 41: Ismael Mata Gedaliah and those who were with him in Mizpá.
2 Kings 25:26: "Then all the people rose from the smallest to the largest, along with the army captains, and went to Egypt, because they feared the Chaldeans." After the murder of Gedaliah, the people who were with him flee to Egypt for fear of Babylonian reprisals. This verse relates to Jeremiah 41, for both chapters speak of the escape of the people.
Jeremiah 42:14: "Do not have the king of Babylon, whom you fear, do not fear him, says the Lord, for I am with you to save you, and to rid you of your hand." This verse is spoken by Jeremiah to the Jews who wanted to escape to Egypt after the murder of Gedaliah. He relates to Jeremiah 41 because both chapters talk about the fear of the people and their attempts to protect themselves.
2 Kings 25:23: "But when all the army captains and their men heard that the king of Babylon had named Gedaliah by governor, gedaliah came to Mizpá; but Ishmael, son of Netanias, and Joan , son of Careá, and Seraías, son of Tanumette, of Netofa, and Jaazanias, son of the Maacatite, they and their men. " This verse relates to Jeremiah 41, as it describes some of the characters that appear in both chapters: Ishmael and Joan.
Jeremiah 42:11: "Do not have the king of Babylon, whom you fear, do not fear him, says the Lord, because I am to you to save you, and to deliver you from your hand." This verse is a repetition of verse 3 and also relates to Jeremiah 41 because both chapters talk about the fear of the people and their attempts to protect themselves.
