Psalms, 95
1. Come, let us sing to the Lord, let us make a joyful sound to the Rock of our salvation.
2. Let us come before him giving thanks, with music and songs of praise.
3. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.
4. In his hand are the depths of the earth and the mountain heights.
5. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hand shaped the dry land.
6. Come and worship; let us bow down, kneel before the Lord, our Maker.
7. He is our God, and we his people; the flock he leads and pastures. Would that today you heard his voice!
8. Do not be stubborn, as at Meribah, in the desert, on that day at Massah,
9. when your ancestors challenged me, and they put me to the test.
10. For forty years they wearied me and I said, "They are a people of inconstant heart; they have not known my ways."
11. So I declared on oath in my anger, "Never shall they enter my rest."
