Chapter 39 of the book of Ezekiel talks about the destruction of the enemies of Israel and the restoration of the earth. Joel 3:20: "But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation." This verse talks about Judah and Jerusalem being inhabited forever, which is similar to God's promise in Ezekiel 39 to restore the earth and bless its people.
