Wisdom of Solomon, 18

6. That night had been foretold to our fathers, and knowing in what promise they trusted, they could rejoice in all surety.

Exodus 15:1: "Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord, 'I will sing to the Lord, for he is great! The horse and his knight precipitate in the sea!'" The divine response to the oppression of the Egyptians and the liberation of the people of Israel are central themes in wisdom 18.
