Luke, 21

25. Then there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of perplexed nations when they hear the roaring of the sea and its waves.

2 Peter 3:10: "There shall come, as a thief the day of the Lord, in which heaven will pass with a great crash, and the elements, burning, shall dissolve, and the earth, and the works that exist in it, will be discovered. Matthew 24:42: "Watch, for you do not know what day your Lord comes in." As in St. Luke 21, Jesus emphasizes the importance of vigilance and readiness for his second coming.
