Leviticus, 22

21. If anyone offers to Yahweh a peace offering either to fulfill a vow or as a voluntary offering, the animal - from the herd or from the flock - will not please Yahweh unless it be without any defect.

Here we see once again the importance that animals offered as a sacrifice must be perfect and without defects.

2 Samuel 24:24: "But the king said to Araúna, No, but for his price I will buy, because I will not offer the Lord my God burnt offering. silver." This verse highlights the importance of offering offers to the Lord who has a personal cost and sacrifice, rather than offering something that has no value or meaning to us.

Hebrews 13:15-16: "Through Jesus, then let us offer God, always, sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget of charity and communication, because with such sacrifices God is pleased. " This verse points out that the sacrifices God values ​​most are not animals or material goods, but our worship and love for Him, as well as our willingness to help and serve others.

Malachi 1:13-14: "even more said unto me, Here is here, that fastener is this! And you have thrown me, says the Lord of hosts; Armies; and bring the stolen, and the lame and the sick; so do the offer. I would accept to you, therefore, of your hand? Says the Lord. " This verse shows that God does not accept offers that are not sincere and are made with disdain or disrespect. He expects our offers to be made with sincerity and humility.
