Esther, 8

13. A copy of the text of the edict to be promulgated as law in every province was published among all the peoples so that the Jews might be prepared on the day stated to avenge themselves on their enemies.

Philippians 4:6: "You are not restless for anything; before, your petitions are all known before God, prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving." This verse encourages prayer as a means of expressing our needs and concerns to God, making sure that He hears and responds to our prayer.
