23. Get us two bulls. Let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it into pieces and lay it on the wood and I will do the same with the other bull. But we will not set it on fire.

Exodus 20:3: "You will not have other gods before me." This is the first commandment of God's law to Moses, and highlights the exclusivity and importance of worshiping only to God, not other gods.

1 Corinthians 8:6: "But for us, there is one God, the Father, whom they are all things, and to whom we live; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, for which they are all things, and we for he." This verse highlights God's unity, and how he is the Father of all things, and how all things were created through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
