St. Matthew 15 talks about the controversies between Jesus and the Pharisees regarding religious rituals and traditions. Jesus teaches that what contaminates man is not what goes through his mouth, but what comes out of it, that is, the words and actions. '"This verse relates to Jesus' criticism of the Pharisees for following human traditions rather than God's commandments.
