Luke, 8

24. Then, drawing near, they awakened him, saying, “Teacher, we are perishing.” But as he rose up, he rebuked the wind and the raging water, and they ceased. And a tranquility occurred.

Chapter 8 of the Gospel of Luke presents several parables and teachings of Jesus, including the well -known parable of the sower and the history of the cure of the woman who suffered from bleeding twelve years ago. Isaiah 40:31: "But those who await the Lord renew their strength. They fly loudly as eagles; they run and do not exhausted, walk and do not get tired." This verse speaks of the strength God can give to his followers, allowing them to face challenges without giving up.

John 10:10: "The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I came to have life and fully." This verse speaks of Jesus' intention to bring full and abundant life to his followers, and the opposition He faces from those who want to steal, kill and destroy.

Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not have anxious for anything; before, in everything, your known requests before God for prayer and supplication with thanksgiving; and the peace of God, which exceeds all understanding, will keep them your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. " This verse speaks of the importance of trusting God in times of anxiety and seeking His peace through prayer and gratitude.
