Exodus, 33

11. But the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, just as a man is used to speaking to his friend. And when he returned to the camp, his minister Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, did not withdraw from the Tabernacle.

Exodus 33 describes the continuation of Moses's relationship with God after the idolatry of the golden calf. Joshua 1:9: "I am not sending me? Strive and have good encouragement; do not fear, not even amazing; for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you walk." Psalm 23:4: "Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no harm, because you are with me; your stick and your staff comfort me." This verse highlights the presence of God as a source of comfort and protection for the psalmist, showing the importance of God's presence in difficult times.
