Jeremiah chapter deals with the prophet's prophecy about the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, and how religious and politicians reacted to this message. They accused him of blasphemy and threatened him with death, but Jeremiah kept his position. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:
2 Kings 19:2 - "And sent Eliakim, who was over the house, and Sebna, the registrar, and the elders of the priests, dressed in bags, Isaiah the son of Amoz the prophet." This verse mentions the prophet Isaiah, who also prophesied about the destruction of Jerusalem, and how the leaders sought their guidance.
Ezekiel 33:30-33-"Thus, thus, O Son of man, speak to the children of your people and say unto them, When I make the sword on earth, and the people of the earth take a man of his own Terms, and constitute it for his Atalaia; and he comes to see the sword to come upon the earth, and to touch the trumpet and to warn the people, if he who hears the sound of the trumpet is not warned, and the sword and the sword and the Taking, your blood will be over your head.
