Genesis, 11

6. And the LORD said, "Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.

Genesis 11 presents the history of the Tower of Babel, where Noah's descendants, still united in one tongue, decide to build a tower that came to heaven. But God confuses the languages ​​of the builders and disperses them by the earth. The verses related to the topics addressed in this chapter are:

Psalm 2:4 - "He who is sitting in heaven laughs; the Lord mocks from them." This verse shows God's sovereignty over men, who often try to challenge their authority and wisdom, as in the case of the Tower of Babel.
