5. Now Yahweh came down to see the city and the tower that the people had built.
Genesis 11 presents the history of the Tower of Babel, where Noah's descendants, still united in one tongue, decide to build a tower that came to heaven. But God confuses the languages of the builders and disperses them by the earth. The verses related to the topics addressed in this chapter are:
