Luke, 9

33. As they were about to part from him, Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good that we are here; let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." But he did not know what he was saying.

Chapter 9 of St. Luke begins with Jesus by sending his twelve disciples to preach the Kingdom of God and to perform healing and miracles in his name. He later feeds five thousand people with only five breads and two fish, reveals to his disciples that he will suffer and be killed, and teaches about the importance of humility and commitment to him. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in São Luke 9:

John 14:6 - "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but for me.'" This verse is similar to the teaching of Jesus in Luke 9:50, where he says to his disciples, "He who is not against us is for us."
