Genesis 14 is a chapter that reports a battle between four kings against five kings, and as Abram rescues his nephew Lot, which had been captured during the battle. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Genesis 14:

This verse speaks of how soldiers should focus on serving the Lord instead of getting involved in earthly issues. 1 Peter 5:8: "Be sober and vigilant. The devil, your enemy, is around like a lion, looking for someone to devour." This verse speaks of how we should be alert against the enemy's attacks. In Genesis 14, we see that Lot was captured because he was not vigilant against his enemies.
