Acts, 3

2. And a man crippled from birth was carried and placed at the gate of the temple called "the Beautiful Gate" every day to beg for alms from the people who entered the temple.

Chapter 3 of Acts of the Apostles narrates the healing of a lame man who was at the temple door asking for alms. Peter and John, as they pass him, heal him in the name of Jesus Christ. The healing of man lame through faith in Jesus Christ occurs in compliance with a prophecy of Isaiah, which shows that he was wounded to give us peace and heal us.

Matthew 4:23: "And Jesus roamed all Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all the diseases and diseases among the people."
