Deuteronomy, 11

2. And consider this day (since I am not speaking to your children who have not known or seen it), consider the discipline of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand and his outstretched arm,

Deuteronomy 11 Emphasizes the importance of loving and obeying God, as well as teaching their commandments to children and remembering the blessings and curses associated with obedience or disobedience. Below are five verses from other Bible books that relate to the topics addressed in Deuteronomy 11.

Matthew 22:37-39: "Jesus answered, 'Love the Lord, His God of all His heart, all His soul and all His understanding.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is similar to him: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'. " This verse highlights the commandment of loving God above all and loving one's own as itself as a way of obeying God's commandments.

Psalm 78:4: "We will not cover it from our children, telling the future generation the praises of the Lord, and their strength, and the wonders that have made." This psalm emphasizes the importance of teaching children about the acts of God and their commandments, an idea that is also emphasized in Deuteronomy 11.
