1 Chronicles, 20

1. In the spring of the year, the time when kings go forth to battle, Jo'ab led out the army, and ravaged the country of the Ammonites, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. And Jo'ab smote Rabbah, and overthrew it.

Chapter 20 of 1 Chronicles records King David's victories over the Philistines and other enemies of Israel. David led the Israeli army in various battles and won several cities. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:

2 Samuel 21:15 - "Still the Philistines made war to Israel; and came down David, and with him his servants, and fought against the Philistines; and David tired." This verse shows the continuation of the fight against the Philistines, mentioned in 1 Chronicles 20.
