Colossians, 2

2. That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

Chapter 2 of Colossians deals with the importance of true wisdom and knowledge of God in contrast to false human philosophies and traditions. Paul warns the Colossians not to be deceived by empty teachings and argues that the fullness of God dwells in Christ. Galatians 5:1: "It was to freedom that Christ set us free. Therefore, they remain firm and not to be subjected to a yoke of slavery." 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuke, correction and instruction in righteousness, for the man of God to be able and fully prepared for all good constructions." This verse highlights the importance of Scripture as a source of truth and instruction in the Christian life, a theme that is emphasized in Colossians 2.
