Isaiah, 29

16. This thought of yours is perverse: as if the clay should think against the potter, and the work should say to the maker thereof: Thou madest me not: or the thing framed should say to him that fashioned it: Thou understandest not.

Isaiah chapter 29 begins with a warning against Jerusalem, which is described as a city surrounded and oppressed, but does not realize its condition of spiritual blindness. Just as Isaiah talks about the restoration and renewal of Jerusalem, Revelation talks about the New Jerusalem and the renewal of all things.
