Isaiah, 31

2. Therefore, being wise, he has permitted harm, and he has not removed his words, and he will rise up against the house of the wicked and against those who assist the workers of iniquity.

The chapter warns that the Lord is powerful to save and that the Israelites must rely on Him rather than rely on human alliances. Below are five verses related to the topics addressed in Isaiah 31:

Psalm 20:7 - "Some trust cars, some in horses; we, we will mention the name of the Lord our God." This verse highlights the importance of trust in God rather than trusting human forces, as is Isaiah 31.

Proverbs 21:31 - "The horse prepares for battle day, but victory comes from the Lord." Like Isaiah 31, this verse highlights the importance of trusting God for victory rather than trusting human forces.
